According to Pfizer, “Hundreds of millions of doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine have been administered globally, and the benefit-risk profile of the vaccine remains positive for all authorised indications and age groups.” While this may be true for the vast majority of people, there have been many reports of unexpected COVID vaccine side effects emerging recently. One such story was shared by Dean Valentine, a 59-year-old grandfather who says he was completely healthy before getting the Pfizer shot. While it is an anecdotal report, it’s important for the scientific community to learn about any potential COVID vaccine side effects.
Man Shares His Unexpected COVID Vaccine Side Effects
Dean Valentine enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going on holidays with friends, and golfing. However, all of that changed in December 2021, when he got the COVID vaccine. Shortly afterwards, he started experiencing bizarre symptoms such as full-body tremors, intense dizziness, and a permanent headache. Over the years, he has tried everything from private healthcare to juicing and health retreats to find a potential cure. In fact, he claims he has spent around £100,000 trying to do so over the years.
Speaking to MailOnline, he stated that “If I was 100 per cent of a man, I’m now 10 per cent of a man. I’m heartbroken. It has destroyed me. I am devastated that I’m in this situation. This is my one and only life. I’ve got the most beautiful family, I’d be the envy of so many people due to them, and I can’t enjoy them.” The first symptom that he noticed a few days after taking the vaccine was a weird taste in his mouth. He also had the weirdest sensation of his glasses being on his head when they weren’t.
While he was on holiday with friends in April 2022, he started to feel very sick. While lying down, it felt like his head was sinking deeper and deeper into the pillow. When he turned onto his other side, the same thing began to occur, making him increasingly concerned. At first, it seemed like things were improving, but then it took a turn for the worse. According to Valentine, “We got on with our day, went to the beach, went for some lunch with friends, I came back from the restaurant, and I sat on the beach. The sun in the sky was spinning around, like a vertigo sensation. It was petrifying.”
Shadow of the Man He Was
Before getting the vaccine, Valentine claims he was a healthy man who did not have any of the symptoms he suffers from today. This is why he feels certain that they were the result of the vaccine. He says he grew certain after seeing specialists and professors who have all said the same thing – it must be the COVID vaccine side effects. Now, his life is constantly affected by full-body vibrations, back and kidney pain, anxiety, abdominal cramps, and a constant headache. He went on to say that “I have a bizarre anxious feeling through my body – we call it a physical anxiousness. I’ve had all the tests done, and they can’t find anything, which is quite the norm with people who are suffering. I’m just not the person I was.
I force myself to get on with it. I’m a shadow of the man I was. It’s brutal.” However, he says that he is not trying to claim any sort of compensation, but rather would like to see a medical pathway implemented for people affected by the vaccines. While he is not against people getting the vaccine, he does feel that they shouldn’t just be left in the scrap heap after taking the vaccine “in good faith”. While not asking for compensation from anyone, he has personally managed to raise more than £25,000 through various charity events to help others in a similar situation.
Post-Vaccination Syndrome
There is no doubt that COVID vaccines helped prevent millions of deaths during the last epidemic. However, in recent years, several studies have linked them to certain conditions that have affected numerous people across the globe. A previously unknown condition called post-vaccination syndrome was recently reported by researchers at Yale University. It seems to cause dizziness, brain fog, exercise intolerance, and tinnitus.
The next phase of their research is to find out who is most at risk and how widespread the condition is. According to Pfizer, “As with every medicine and vaccine, including the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer has robust processes to meet its regulatory responsibilities to closely monitor, report and analyse all adverse events, and collect relevant information to assess any new potential safety risks that may be associated with the COVID-19 vaccine.” Hopefully, with more research, they will gain a clearer understanding of the emerging COVID vaccine side effects.
